The area and landscape

The journey unfolds across the wide rural landscapes of the Alta Murgia. First, the ride leaves the countryside around Acquaviva delle Fonti and moves quickly into open farmland. Quiet secondary roads, dry stone walls and isolated masserie shape this initial section. Then, the scenery gradually opens into broader horizons and protected environments inside the Alta Murgia area. As a result, riders experience one of the most authentic and least urbanized landscapes in Puglia.

The e-bike experience

The route follows an easy and progressive rhythm from start to finish. At the beginning, the terrain stays smooth and mostly flat, which helps riders feel comfortable on the e-bike. Later, gentle hills appear and add variety without increasing difficulty. Thanks to the electric assistance, the ride remains accessible and relaxed. Therefore, riders can focus on scenery rather than physical effort. Along the way, the route also passes through a historic hill town, allowing a clear reading of the relationship between countryside and daily life.

A local and human experience

Inside the Alta Murgia landscapes, nature takes center stage. Wide spaces, silence and open views define the central part of the journey. At this point, the group stops for a simple aperitivo immersed in nature. This pause allows everyone to slow down and enjoy the surroundings, rather than follow a formal tasting structure.
